Responding to the bolded...obviously Steph has worked his ass off on his game and no doubt he was taught how to shoot by his pops, but he still has natural physical abilities that not a lot of people would be able to pull off if they worked like hell on their game. Dell taught all the same shyt to Seth that he did with Steph, now look at the end result. Steph's natural abilities combined with his skillset is what separates him.
seth ate off steph success. youre right, but i don't think people realize how hard steph had it early and how hard he had to work for his position now. from not being recruited by top conference schools, making a name for davidson in ncaaa etc. even when he came to the league he was overlooked. everybody was on blake and tyrekes nuts and rightfully so but i always knew steph was the best player that draft. remember when he fukked up his ankle? everybody was questioning his health and heart. when monta got traded, a lot of warriors fans were pissed because he was their guy and they still werent sold on steph.

steph deserve everything hes getting and more. the blatant disrespect from other players, coaches and fans not giving him his due is hoe ass shyt. steph will be the next tim duncan getting championships but never really getting universal recognition like kobe or lebron because he doesn't have that certain appeal or jerk dna in which everyone expects from nba superstars.

:what:

Not talking about you in particular, but some people can't stand to see some upper-middle class yellow nikka dominate the league like this. That's the only reason why people will criticize him for his wins and compare inferior players like Harden to him. Also, Westbrook has no rings as is not better than Curry.

The other thing about Curry that should be noted is that he is pretty effortless in his approach to the game. He's out there making things look easy without any particular superior athleticism.
Chill, Harden had just as much claim to the MVP as Steph. One of the great things of the last 3-4yrs, is how wide open and varying peoples opinions are in terms of who's the best in the NBA and who deserves the MVP. It felt like from roughly 2007-2011 it was 4 straight years of LBJ vs Kobe and than everyone else. Even though Steve Nash won 2 MVP's in that time span, it was constantly LBJ vs Kobe.

Bron was on a team with 4 all stars, AD put up empty stats........lets be real, Curry is unguardable while LeBron and AD have many flaws in there game. thats why LeBron choked in every 4th Q in the finals last year

Lebron was playing with a squad that consisted mostly of bench players on lottery bound squads before they got to the Cavs.

Lebron lost the two best offensive players on his squad (And they're both top tier offensive players as well) and replaced them with a bunch of hustle players / energy guys to go against the best goddamn defense in the NBA.

That game is much different if Draymond Green is being forced to guard guys like Kevin Love over guys like Tristan Thompson.

It's different if instead of James Jones playing PF off the bench when Tristan is playing center, it's Kevin Love. Or if Kyrie Irving is going at Curry, instead of Delladova, when Lebron is creating open looks for his teammates

Let's be real, nikka. Lebron didn't choke, he ran out of gas while single handily trying to will his team to victory against the number one defense in the league. Switch Curry onto the Cavs and Lebron to the Warriors. Does Curry will those Cavs to a championship?

Curry
Smith
Shumpert
Thompson
Mozgov

Vs.

Lebron
Klay
Iggy/Barnes
Green
Bogut

And then compare the bench players (James Jones, Mike Miller, Kendrick Perkins, Shawn Marion).

What's the result?

Love and Irving didn't do shyt, til they teamed up with Bron. AD was one the of the best rim protectors and had an elite PER. Sure AD can improve his post game and jumper, but he locks up the paint and get 20/10 effiecntly. Stop talking basketball please

AD is a great fantasy player... a jack of all trades, a master of none :yeshrug:

How old are u bruh

Kobe's :flabbynsick: Status now, but he dunked over everyone when he was younger. Dude was an absolute savage.
I'm 27 n I've watched s ton of Kobe. I just don't see him in that first tier of all time athleticism or being freakish. The great thing about him was he knew how to move his body while in the air. Imo he wasn't jumpin put the gym like Vince or was super strong and fast like bron. If I remember correctly Phil even said Kobe has small hands so it's harder for him to do things.

Curry is a much better scorer and offensive player in general. People get tricked by Westbrook's ferocity but he's pretty damn inefficient.

Curry, on the other hand, is ungodly efficient despite them shooting an insane amount of threes.

They're both pretty much unguardable but Curry is a smarter player, a more efficient scorer in almost every metric, and his shooting is so good that he's now an insanely good playmaker due to the amount of defensive attention he receives.

Westbrook's biggest advantage over Curry is his ungodly stamina and motor. Westbrook and Jimmy Butler are two of the only players who can play every single possession they're on their court with a maximum motor.

That's what I'm saying. Westbrook is too dumb to be better than Curry.

I'm not gonna say that. Westbrook isn't really dumb, he's just a tad out of control, due to that high motor, and he needs to brush up on his fundamentals. His bad finishing is a result of a lot of jumping off the wrong foot in traffic, he focuses on exploding upwards rather than keeping his core steady, etc.

Curry is actually the opposite. Curry is probably one of the best, if not the best, at using his core to instantly balance and stabilize before he does anything. It's why he can do these insane floaters and these weird flick layups

Westbrook just so athletic and talented that he manages to finish enough of them that he hasn't really changed it. I mean, imagine if you had infinite turbo on 2K and no stamina. You're just more likely to play out of control and mash on that thing because you've never really need to pace yourself.

And people need to stop saying Kobe isn't athletic. Kobe was in the Elite-tier of NBA athletes, in his prime.

He's not on Lebron, Westbrook, or MJ in pure physical gifts (Those guys are In the GOAT-tier of overall athletic ability with dudes like Shaq and Wilt) but Kobe has GOAT-tier footwork (And that shyt isn't just hard work, his footwork was NBA good as a goddamn summer league player which is insane) too.
