There should be a discussion of who is the best player of this generation, Curry or Bron
How can that be, unless you're willing to put Steph in the GOAT discussion?

As a fellow lightskin nikka I love Curry, but I got him top 10, POSSIBLY top 5 when it's all said and done (I already got him over Magic as GOAT PG) but I think there is a sizeable gap between Jordan/Bron and everyone else.

Neither Curry or Lebron are in the GOAT discussion IMO. Both are Top 10 though

But I think there's a case Curry is higher on the all time list than Lebron

Tricky because Bron has had multiple "primes."

Steph was a rookie in the 2009-10 NBA season, finishing 2nd for ROY that year.

LeBron at the end of that year was a 2x MVP, 4x 1st-team All-NBA, 2x 2nd-team All NBA and I think either 6x or 7x All Star. Bron was borderline HOF-status when Steph was a rookie. Exaggerating but not by much.

Steph has more of a lasting impact because his style is easier to replicate. No one can do what he does on THAT level but they can try. You can't really practice being a 6'8" MJ/Magic/Malone hybrid.

Could Steph drag the '07 Cavs to the Finals...even at his best? Absolutely not. Best shooter of all time but I'm not sure he's even past the Magic Johnson tier.

It's KAJ/MJ/Bron for most and then a debate between Bird/Magic/Dr J/Wilt/Russell/Steph/Timmy D etc.

Are these nikkas serious with the Bron vs Steph talks lmao

Steph has never outplayed LeBron on the court. Ever. Not once

Not in 2015
Not in 2016
Not in 2017
Not in 2018
Not in 2022 play in
Not in 2023 playoffs

Lebron has ALWAYS outplayed Steph. There’s not a single head to head that Curry did anything against LeBron lol. The best Curry “highlight” on LeBron was a double dribble in the finals

Lebron hit a damn game winner against Curry from 3 in his eye, along with blocking his ass about 30 times lol
