i had never bothered to look, i expected a 38% season or two...but 41% being the lowest.

That's crazy, especially when you factor in his volume. I love Ray Ray, and I hate his records didn't get to breathe a little, but Steph the greatest deep ball shooter ever at this point. Ray number 2

Klay number 2. Ray was a better overall player in his prime though.
He was definitely a more versatile offensive player than Klay ever has been or will be. He also was a number one option on some decent playoff teams, which Klay has not yet had the opportunity (or desire) to prove he could do.
But when you account for defense as well, it’s a lot closer than you think
he's also never had a top 60 3 point % season either

All due to volume. Kyle Korver is number one that list and he's never had season taking more than 5 or so threes a game.
Steph has been taking at least 8 threes a game for the last 6 or so seasons
