If u think that shyt is dumb it’s prolly because you weren’t watching basketball circa 2005. Joe Johnson was a fukking monster back then, elite shooter, elite isolation scorer, one of the best playing making 2s and one of the best defenders at his position. Now amplify all those strengths in D’antoni’s system and then imagine the numbers he would have put up.

He was just coming into his own when he left the Suns and was only the 4th option. He would have gotten even better as his role increased. 25/5/5 easily.

When you take as many 3's as he does/offense is as 3 pt based as his is the percentages arent that amazing. Im not even factoring in the wide open looks he gets in the warriors system. He should be shooting those percentages, and he has another guy on his team doing the same shyt.

Klay takes more than triple the 3’s that Kerr used to take. 42% on 6.9 attempts is way better than 45.4% on 1.8 attempts. That’s not even debatable. Korver takes some 2.5 fewer attempts per game than Klay too, so an extra 1% from deep doesn’t really mean anything.
