Steph seen him in 4 finals and will likely take 3 rings from his legacy. Look at how many points Steph averaged in each finals.

Doesn't matter breh
I'm prolly the most critical poster of Lebron here but even I can see the unbalance

What KD & the Warriors did destroyed their own legacies.. these are the least respected back 2 back titles ever

There’s no rivalry. Steph ran to get the 2nd best player in the league when he got his shyt pushed in. That’s admission of defeat by it’s very definition. It’s pretty telling that the Dubs continue to win and the general American public does not care nor has their view shifted on who the best player in the league is :yeshrug:

Curry about to take 3 rings away from Lebron(and its definitely on curry and co because KD can't do shyt by himself)
Curry is the most popular player in the League surpassed Lebron on that front
Curry is the new face of the NBA

Its just like Russ stat pad but no results equals???

Lebron with another finals loss to the Warriors is gonna look real weak legacy wise

Then LeBron destroyed his going to Miami. Steph was the 7th overall pick a d ended up becoming a 2 time MVP in the LeBron era....don't tell me about his legacy because he's greater than anyone expected he'd be coming out of Davidson.

Bron vs Dubs is a rivalry now only in the sense that they keep playing each other. But for each of the past 4 years the Dubs have clearly been the heavy favorites with the better overall teams. 2015 may not have been seen that way until all the injuries but it's at least the last 3 years

LeBron is a much better player than Steph, but all that extra shyt he brings ( Bron Ball, hand picked coaches, Klutch Sports clients ) makes me think I'd rather start with Curry as my franchise cornerstone. Like it or not, OP has a point. Casuals see Curry as #2 and as LeBron's greatest rival and that talk is only gonna intensify after LBJ loses to GSW yet again and then probably jumps ship to Houston
Every year, the GM's are asked at the beginning of the season: "If you were starting a franchise today and could sign any player in the NBA, who would it be?"

In the 12 years the survey has ran, the GMs have never, ever favored Steph Curry over Lebron. Never. Even though Lebron is a good 5 years older than Curry, more GMs have picked Lebron than Curry in every. single. year. In fact, Curry gets so few votes in those surveys that at best he shows up as "also mentioned", he's not even placed. :russ:

And the ONLY Klutch Sports client that was ever added to a Lebron team was JR Smith, and that was in a trade that netted JR, Shump, AND a draft pick for Dion Waiters.

You really gonna try and tell me that was a bad thing? :stopitslime:

LeBron's rival for his prime years should really have been Wade. Both were top 3 players in the league in Wade's prime.

The problem was that after 2006 Wade really didn't do anything in the playoffs, and his knees were giving up on him so regularly that the clock was already ticking by 2010.

People forget the beginning of careers too quickly, but the main guys who were ever seen as Lebron's primary "rival" at different stages have been Carmelo, Kobe, Pierce, and Durant. It's just bad luck that some of those rivalries never developed into regular playoff matchups. Everyone else being mentioned are just players who happened to be good or on good teams, but they weren't seen as a "rival" to Lebron in the same sense except for social media and ESPN storylines.
