which is an absolutely wild stat considering how much pro-wrestlers have always worked since the beginning of time .... WWE used to run 4-5 shows each and every single week.

we're in July now and the most matches that a WWE wrestler has worked is only 34. that's nothing. only 5-6 matches per month.

prior to Covid and the TKO buyout killing 85% of all house shows, the average WWE wrestler would have already worked 90-100 matches by July.

some say that's good for the wrestlers health, however over the last five years the schedule is as easy as it's ever been and nearly everyone is essentially what used to be called a "part timer", but yet they are still getting injured non-stop as well.

They're wrestling at a crazy pace now w/a ton of high impact spots tho

While there's no precautions you can take to keep you from blowing out your knees, all the crazy suicide dives, flying strikes.etc are not good on the body and should be used sparingly. Like every match has at least one suicide dive now, it's stupid.
