No Black person is going to see Trump with any kind of leverage for the masses, or at least a substantial number, of Black people.
It's all show, symbolic at best.

You can say the same thing about Obama. Its been nothing but photo ops and parties with celebs for Obama while cops are gunning black folks down in the street and black wealth being eliminated. The data is out. Blacks are way worse off now by every measure than they were 8 years ago and i see nothing that will stop the decline any time soon.

You guys didn't have a problem with Obama inviting all the black celebs to the white house while doing nothing for the black community for 8 years. Why are you concerned now?

For all the folks complaining about black people meeting with Trump I would love to hear your plans for the next 4 years. Do you plan on leaving the country? Cause if not you will have to deal with the president whether you like it or not. The idea that black people shouldnt work with trump is ridiculous seeing that nobody has provided a viable alternative. Are you guys gonna quit your jobs or not pay your taxes under trump? I doubt it. You guys are all talk.

Only plan i see so far is to complain and march so more for the next 4 years. There is money to be made in any system... you better start figuring put how to get it and how to benefit under these potential new policies the new administration is pushing.

I don't know who "You guys" is.
I said Trump, because this thread is about Trump. I stand by my statements for ANY elected official. The person elected doesn't owe Black people anything after they're in office if all we're doing is asking for favors with no means of reciprocation. This is true whether we voted for the eventual winner or not, or even if we didn't vote.
