fam the issues are similar.
Mark is defending the right of people to say what they want, not Sterling being a racist.
So yes, the gay issue does match this. If gay people get offended by something someone says, now they can demand that person be removed, or make it so that person is labeled homophobic...thats what he is trying to say.

Like when Tracy Morgan got in trouble for his standup bit...dude to go through a lot of B.S. because of his comedy act.

Sorry, but they are not. Not even close.
But I'll give you this, had Cuban said he would run across the street away from a bunch of homosexuals, he would've caught a lot more heat.

so youre going to ignore everything he said in the clip i posted? He clearly was just trying to come up w/ an example...its not set in stone...he was giving an example.

How can you watch the clip I posted and not get what he was saying? He clearly said its wasnt the right way to think, and that when you catch yourself thinking like that you must correct it.

You dont have negative thoughts?

and :mjlol: at a grown man caring about negs.
:dwillhuh: before you said he was misquoted and even pull some bullshyt link to prove your point. Now that you've been shown the video of him saying "bald"(dude even marked it so you won't have to listen through the whole shyt :wow: ) and you change up the argument ? :wtf:
at this point, any dude debating @jilla82 after these exposures, deserves that your time be wasted for entertaining him
whats the point though? :smh:

My biggest problem with the Marc Cuban situation, is he tried to use weak racial comparisons (black guy in hoodie) to defend somebody who says "all blacks should be treated like dogs"

It's a difference being "afraid" of somebody and WANTING them "mistreated"...

If I'm walking on a dark street in Alabama tomorrow, and I see 3 drunk white boys.... I'M WALKING TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET.....

That doesn't mean I want all white boys in Alabama to be treated like "dogs"

It's a damn shame everyone in America is missing / arguing the WRONG POINT.... Truly is.

I'll say it again brehs.... Let me outline it this time:

1) 90% of white people in America are racist and think all blacks are inferior: FACT

2) They honestly have the RIGHT to feel that way, as long as they don't break any discrimation laws or put hands on you: FACT

3) So now you have 2 options:

A - Whine, bytch and moan about it.. As they laugh *hysterically* at you getting upset... WHILE YOU ARE STILL BROKE AND WORKING FOR THE WHITE MAN..... Basically, proving them right

or

B - Get rich or at least make $100k a year working for yourself... and PROVE their thoughts wrong.

Once more and more of us start getting our paper / weight up, THEN things will be more balanced as far as race relations / perception for our kids of the future.

My point is: White people don't respect many black people... There are a few: Oprah, Obama, Will Smith etc etc... But for the most part, they just don't respect the weight we hold... Because we don't hold as much as them.

They look at a black / rich person as a RARE ANOMALY... They look at a rich white person as "That's how it's supposed to be"

And if you look at the Forbes list for richest people in America, it's a FACT they are right....

This shyt is gonna hurt... This shyt is gonna sting.... The truth always does...

But the ONLY WAY for YOU to help our race for the decades going forward, is to get off your ass get to some paper, so we can swing the pendulum in OUR direction....

Until YOU do that... You are exactly what Marc Cuban and every other white man "Thought you were" .... A sorry ass nikka that they are superior to.

You gonna let em talk about you like that? ? .... I hope not....

Lets Get it $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

the internet

I SAW THE INTERVIEW WITH MY OWN EYES...
HE SAID BLACK KID IN A HOODIE
AND WHITE GUY WITH A FACE FULL OF TATS...

IM SURE YOUR bytch ASS CAN FIND THE INTERVIEW WITH GOOGLE
YOU fukkING fakkit...
ALWAYS IN THESE THREADS ACTING LIKE A HOE.

stick to rapping fam...
cuz the interview I posted he didnt say "face full of tats".

You nikkas are just sensitive. You feel like the white man controls your life...so you act out anytime someone says something that hurts your feelings.
You sit on the internet and complain, and then go to work for a white man like every other chump. You can keep your militant talk because its just talk...you still answer to the people you hate so much.

Its why I have respect for people that actually walk the walk.

My argument stands even after I saw the other interview...you cats still havent watched what I posted where he clearly explains where he was coming from.

As a society we can't have an intelligent conversation about race. We can't be open and honest about it because everyone wants to cry foul.

This is exactly like when Obama went up there talking about how we as a nation build the roads that the businesses our individual citizens start use to move goods on and Republicans who didn't wanna hear what Obama was saying anyway picked apart what he said and heard the part "You didn't build that" and ran with it. This here is also a group of people listening waiting for something to pounce on something other than the actual message.

Mark Cuban was talking about implicit bias something that all human beings have. He was talking about trying to notice and catch it instead of just acting on it and pretending it isn't there. Stephen A Smith recognized this and also recognized what Cuban was saying wasn't an attack on black people in general and didn't have a problem with it. For saying he's ok with that he gets labeled a c00n?

c00n has become nothing more than a shaming tactic. If somebody doesn't agree with you call them a c00n to make them ashamed of themselves for thinking differently.

So Cal....That's all you need to know
What Mark could have/should have said....
As a man, I know I have my own prejudices and bigotry so I know I would be a hypocrit to point the finger at anyone else. However what this Sterling situation has taught me is to really look at the prejudices and evaluate how those thoughts affect others.
What Cuban said
I have my own prejudices....**crickets, crickets**
