If Lebron had an better post game he would probably equal Jordan skill-wise. With Jordan being the better perimeter shooter and Lebron being the better passer. Jordan rarely had to do anything other than score and wasn't called on to lock down the opposing teams best player. I rarely remember Jordan shutting dudes down on the defensive end because they had Pippen for that.

They're actually both career 33% 3 point shooters believe it or not.

I think Lebron being considered more skilled than MJ is jokes. He's more of an impressive physical specimen but not a more skilled player. Skills are what you LEARN and ACQUIRE, not what you're born with, so I refuse to say Lebron is skilled for being able to jump higher, run faster, etc.

Jordan has him on mid range game, handles, free throw percentage, he's a more skilled(but less versatile) defender and just as good of a 3 point shooter statistically.

I'll give Lebron the edge on passing and rebounding(strictly due to his physical skills).

Lebron is the better Athlete. Jordan is a more skilled basketball player. Kobe Bryant is also more skilled than Lebron btw.

Jordan a career 50% from the field shooting way more jumpers than Lebron too. Shooting guards WISH they could do that these days. He did it with HAND CHECKING ALLOWED lol.

That's true. LeBron is dominating in the "soft azz" era of the NBA. Jordan came of age during the more physical era.

LeBron would have gotten laid out, driving like Jerome Bettis, back in the day.

If Jordan played in the current "soft azz" era, he'd live at the FT line.

Just think, Wade and Pierce love that pump-fake-bait the defender-into the foul move.

Jordan would have killed defenders with that. SMH at this kids thinking LeBron is on Jordan's level.

He played in spurts like Kobe once his teammates softened up the opposing player first. Anybody can play defense in spurts but do it for an full game like Lebron is forced to do while guarding 5 different positions.

wouldnt be because of size but strength and agility.. which are skills...

Skills umm agility isn't a skill you can't really learn to be agile your either agile ir your not. You can work on it but I don't think you csn make yourself agile if your not :/
And strength isn't a skill eithe come on. He has a great genetic makeup and is a genetic freak but stop it . He loses his agility then what ?falls back on shooting ?:sabo;:scusthov::whoo:

Let's put it like this, if Mike played in this era of basketball he would've easily has a couple of 40pt, 8ast, 8rb seasons. Mike played in a much more physical game. Lebron is a better passer, rebounder, and an overall better defender, but by no means is he more skilled than Jordan. Jordan took a lot more shots and avg over 50% FG in a season.

I would make the argument that Lebron isn't more skilled than Prime Kobe or Prime Duncan.
