Thats unfortunate because he was actually correct in a lot of his criticism.
Mind you Stephen A Smith voted for Kamala AND Biden.
In what way? Do you agree that she should be soft shoe'ing in order to get what she needs from Trump? Because i recall Dems got upset at Cube for even being willing to take a meeting and push his agenda
I agree her persona rubs alot of people the wrong way. But i would never get on t.v talking about how she needs to tone it down so not to offend a disrespectful, loudmouth like Trump. Who damn sure doesnt give a damn about offending black people when he feels like it. He is 100%out of pocket for that.
Had he spoke on how her persona is offputting to many black men in this climate,he MAYBE couldve gotten some leeway. But probably not due to how big his platform is. Hes smart enough to know anything he says about her will be used by Fox and MAGA social media so they can say "See,we arent being racist in our criticism, heres a black man saying the same thing.
My issue with her is that she feels performative imo. Not that she isnt being her true self. But it just has a pandering feel to it. In the same way Hillary keeping hot sauce in her bag felt. Or Kamala with the greens in a tub. This strategy of appealing to black people by being "sassy" or real. The viral clips of Jasmine Crocket have that same performative feel to me rather shes being authentic or not.
Plus its a persona many black men are simply fatigued by in this climate. Rather anyone likes that or not. I wouldve rather him approached it from that perspective than telling her to softshoe for Trump
Thats actually a discussion thats long overdue that was overlooked by Dems as they wrote it of lf as simple "black male misogny". It may be misogny in the grand scheme, but its misogyny with reason, based on historical data
