I agree with this but he said "if Malcolm was alive today".. Everything you said is how he was when he died. All I was saying I don't know what he would be on if he were alive in this day and age. He would never be white washed but its unknown on whether he would still be a Black Nationalist, speak occasionally on black matters, or on some completely different Humanist type sh*t. That was my whole point
I think fam initial point was speaking on Malcom of that era being in this era. Not of an older Malcolm if he was alive today...a lot of people obviously soften up as they get older

Atleast I think that's what y'all mean:russ:

Ehh, a lot of Cubans are terrible sources for Cuban politics. There are undeniable positives in Fidel's reign that many of them refuse to admit. Even if he was more bad than good, they lose credibility when they act like he was just a monster.

At any point in time you could find tons of people talking shyt about our own government due to the polarizing nature of politics.

Nobody on this earth is some 100% negative in their actions .

Shidddt. Donald Trump turned a million dollar loan into a billion dollar company...But he's not the face Id expect to see on a tee shirt promoting humanity and human rights.

Kap got exposed and he needs to just stfu at this point.. no nfl or nba players or black media are rallying behind him. I only see pro Kaepernick talk on thecoli.com..that's all that really needs to be known about that

The funny thing is that SAS would almost certainly have disapproved of Malcolm X at the time.

But I will say this: Kaep has disappointed. Started great with the protests but he has made some major mistakes lately that make me question how informed he is. First the comments about voting, now the Castro stuff. I think his heart is in the right place but his mind...

It just makes me depressed thinking about the "leaders" of this movement. No one has the wit or intelligence of Malcolm, Baldwin, etc. Everything is about emotion, embracing the victim role, and not doing much of anything to help communities. Kaep deserves credit for his community outreach but DeRay and these other people are NOT in the community. And I agree with DeRay on many things but the people gotta feel you. We need a Black Panthers like organization. Outreach, service, etc.

Embracing the victim role? If we are victims of something, we simply are. Nothing embarrassing about stating that fact

Because taking stances like that are unpopular when the media is never going to side with the powerless minority. He is peacefully protesting and people like you are telling him to STFU. So why be surprised that more people aren't rushing to join him?

The view of Cuba here is just very tilted. This country liked the military dictatorship that was overthrown over there. The word "communism" sends our country into mass hysteria for no reason and our efforts to choke Cuba out were unsuccessful.

Malcolm was constantly changing so I don't know if he would've still been hated in this day and age. He might have or he might not. Remember he eased up on whites a bit after his pilgrimage to Mecca when saw white Muslims
he didnt really ease up so much so as realize that it was theoretically possible for a society to integrate racially, where before he thought it was simply not possible ever.

he still recognized the evil of Cacs in the US and wouldve been unafraid to call their asses out and for that he'd always be hated

Nah I heard him say it he ain't bullshyttin. SAS said in a real contemptuous way too like he wanted to say "ole fake ass Malcolm X" or some shyt. I knew right then and there that I needed to change the channel. It's funny too cuz he can't even give Kaep props for his much improved play. I swear this nikka ain't shyt....:russ: :aibleh:

What was the topic? We're they talking about him beasting or the Castro stuff?
