I agree, but lets remember Steven A. struck a fairly aggressive pro black tone a decade ago, and because of that white folks found him offensive and he was subsequently run out of ESPN on a rail. During his time in exile he was "rehabilitated", and taught how to tailor his views that align with the conservative whims of white america.

Whether these are now his true views or not, its clear he's hit a sweet spot with white viewers who now found him more tolerable than ever before, and the show is now a cash cow for ESPN. I dont watch the show (only watch clips here and there), but from what ive seen Skip will strike the more progressive left wing tone on debates,and Im sure thats by design. An outspoken black man who is sympathetic to social justice just doesnt fly in today's America, especially in the age of Obama where white folks are mad uptight with him in charge.Whites will at least not revolt if the white guy is the left-leaning one (i remember that skip was more outraged at donald sterling than steven a was --- the latter kept harping on the NAACP).

Its tough for blacks to eat out here and keep our pride 100% in tact...not that im trying to let steven a off the hook because im terribly disappointed in him. Im desperately trying to understand his views.

Thats a dumb fukking response then....still as a man we KNOW when a woman is provoking us. And as a man with millions to lose, he's gotta be smarter.

Apparently he doesn't. Just look at the consequences or lack thereof for his actions.

-His coach gives him his full support
-His "I am the law" commissioner gives him less than half the time he gave a guy for getting tatts in college
So what exactly is there to be smarter about?

A man should never hit a woman. It's morally unacceptable. The majority of people have a weak moral compass and need consequences to keep them in line. There is nothing about these consequences that are gonna keep him in line.

As far as Beadle goes how exactly does saying one should not start physical altercations=a miniskirt is license to rape? Newsflash some women are slick as fukk with the mouth and their hands. It doesn't mean a man should hit them but we don't live a world of should.
