YES!! He is responding to a small amount of critics. You see salon.com writing articles about that? Deadspin? Women's groups?

He apparently had large enough impact from the outrage from these "small amount of critics" to address the comments he made on his show.

What does this even mean? :mindblown:

You don't come off as very smart to me and I'm too lazy to try and explain what I said so....:manny: fukk it

Yes....I want her to express outrage over victim blaming. I don't have to be a woman to be disgusted by this clown victim bling women. But you'd outlaw that as something I can't bear because "I don't know the plight of women!! :ohlawd: "

You can't "express outrage" over something if you don't know jack shyt about the issue as a whole!!!!

Stopped reading after but.

As retarded as you sound I'm actually IMPRESSED you can actually TYPE, let alone read.

I kinda feel bad for SAS in a sense b/c I agree w/ him in that women should not be assaulting men, as this can obviously provoke some men to hit them back. What he said was pretty simple. Don't ever hit women....but women also shouldn't be provoking men by assaulting them first.

I feel like Twitter idiots and bloggers just wanna take popular sides, but they know deep down domestic violence is wrong on BOTH ends male or female.

Dude finally makes one real point and he's getting blasted for it. He's just gonna go further into super safe black man-mode, if that's possible.

I think the point is she's a phony and that's the issue. Your one of the better posters here so I'd interested in hearing you why you think that's wrong.

You made state saying the climate of the general public is if you coordinate your behavior to avoid certain situations you are some how justifying or saying its okay for this behavior to take place, I am correct if not please reiterate

I'm saying the dumb people on twitter are not on that stance, they just want something to shyt on Stephen A for because he argues well and doesn't come up on the short end of the stick most of the time

all that other shyt is just an excuse to tear him down

I am saying that advising a person to take such action is often misconstrued to be taken as saying it's okay for the behavior to take place.

Issues such as domestic violence and now homosexuality are super sensitive and anything other than straight down the line agreement with the pc chorus is met with castigation...see Tony Dungy. It used to be that way about race but between Obama and Trayvon that seems to be changing.

You gotta take a class on learning something "whole" before deciding to be outraged about that something?

:wtf:

I don't believe its right for a man to touch a woman. I understand how Beadle could take what Stephen A. Smith was saying as him acting like women who are abused often do something to provoke their men into hitting them. However, I think the question people have to ask themselves, is a man who has never hit a woman but had one occassion where he might have struck a woman out of a reflex reaction the equivalent of a serial batterer and abuser. I think in either situation the man is wrong (unless the girl got a weapon) their is a difference between a guy who consciously and repeatedly beats on women and a guy who makes a mistake due to provocation of a woman beating on him. Their is a reason why men shouldn't hit women. We generally have bigger stronger bodies and I think all stephen a. smith was saying was that why put yourself in a position where you might provoke a man into striking you. Again a man shouldn't hit a woman under these circumstances but whats controversial about telling woman its probably better to not beat up a guy just cuz he pissed you off. If a man is expected to have the will power to refrain from striking a woman from being attacked why can't expectations be met for women to lay off hitting a man in the same manner. I think thats all Stephen A. was trying to say

your entitled to your opinion...but If a woman hits me and i snap it just is what it is...ill generally try to stay calm but I'm not on some always turn the other cheek shyt sometimes you gone get it.
