The idea that black people should arbitrarily split their vote for no reason is one of the most 
ideas I've ever heard. That'd probably be the end of any remaining political power we have.
That said, I don't think we (or anybody for that matter) are obligated to vote for a particular party. People should vote for who they think it's in their best interest to vote for, and at the moment 90% of the black population (along with most other minorities) feels that the Dems are a better (if only slightly) option. The idea that black folk only vote Dem because they're too stupid to know better is pretty condescending and insulting to be honest.
Anybody who wants black folk to split their vote more evenly (or vote mostly Republican) should be asking themselves why exactly the GOP is so unpopular among our segment of the population. If you aren't willing to actually give an honest answer and just go with "black people are stupid/brainwashed/want handouts/etc" then you're probably part of the reason.
