It ain't just about Jordan though, in the grand scheme of things I don't think Lebron would have had as much success in the 90s as he would have in this era...

Assuming he's with that same Cavs team, I don't see him ever beating the Bulls, Rockets or the Shaq/Penny Magic. I don't see him getting past the 91' Blazers or the 92 Suns or the 98 D.Robinson/Duncan Spurs. I see him having trouble with the Pacers too but he'd probably eat the Jazz alive...just my opinion after witnessing them all play

Like it or not, some of Lebrons dominance is predicated on his skills in the paint while in a weak Big man era.

In the 90s he would be dominant over a lot of the people at his position, but his 'in the paint' dominance would be taken down a few notches with the centers of that time. I honestly don't see him going night in and night out in the paint against Shaq, Mourning,Mutumbo, Olajuwon, Ewing, Dougherty, and getting crazy numbers like he did over the last 8 years

Lebron is, at worst, a taller, faster, stronger, more athletic, better passing, better shooting, and more talented Charles Barkley.

Every team that tried to attack Bron’s mentality, after the Mavs series, was utterly destroyed by him. Rondo, Pierce, and KG talking shyt is what led to that Boston Game 6 performance. Or Klay calling Bron out for crying before Bron went SSJ.

Lebron tends to do better when challenged or riled up with talking.
