The biggest difference between a Stephen Smith run as a Dem and Trumps run as a Republican is the Dem candidate doesn't get to rely on loud, bigoted wedge issues and sensationalized lies about demarginalized people or immigrants to victory. Its a different and more difficult standard that his simple ass is guilty of perpetuating himself.

If he's gonna run as a Democrat he has to actuallystand for liberal ideals where his oppotent gets to be a simple minded bigot. He has to address civil liberties and navigate various communities and social issues where his oppontent gets to ignore it. He has to come up with solid economic policy that actually addresses and reverses poverty where his opponent only has to promise deregulation and tax cuts for the rich. He has to rely on and take about the truth about issues in America where his opponent gets to rely on sensationalized racist BS. He has to actually build programs and solutions for this country where his opponent only has to promise to tear it all down. He has to rally and inspire people of all backgrounds, not just insecure white Christian bigots. The same ridiculous double standard against Democrats and accusations of somehow caring more about xyz than abc that he perpetuates will have him tearing his hair out.

Stephen A is an ass kissing c00n who hates liberalism, hates Democrats, loves Sean Hannity, considers it an honor to be friends with racist conservatives, cant find a Republican talking point he dont agree with, and is just an all around pompous, self centered Uncle Tom that thinks being agreeable with white conservatives taking away our rights makes him a genius somehow. Like your usual "free thinker." He would basically waste all our time running as a diet Republican centrist, appearing on Hannity, telling voters how pathetic Democrats are all day, agree with every Republican talking point, run and then lose to an actual Republican in the end, obviously.

We need serious fighters and real populist leftist thinkers, not another pompous "free thinker" that just wants to kiss ass and prove his free thinker uncle tom intellect above other black people.

All facts. I think that's what makes the vote tally for him so frustrating. He is to Liberalism what Trump is to Conservatism, except he doesn't have anyone to keep him honest. He is basically a Hillary Clinton moderate w/o any understanding of policy or getting things done.

I can't understand why so many (black) men see him as a viable candidate outside of an inability to critically engage in politics. SAS lied about LeBron, lied about his high school basketball career, has made a career out of saying outlandish things because for publicity and perhaps most symbolically, voted for Kamala and then said he regretted it two months later. The only thing that had changed in that time period was that Trump was popular but that's all it takes for SAS to change his views. He's a rebel populist w/o a cause.

I cannot grasp how anyone would think he would be a good representative for water reclamation, let alone the leader of the free world.
