He should have said “our people”, “brothers and sisters” even African Americans....not sounding like some white politician tryin to earn the vote from a population he isn’t from....I don’t think I’ve ever had a convo with one of us where we referred to ourselves as “blacks” or “the blacks”.....SAS uses that language when talkin to his white counterparts and now it’s his language......it’s akin to Ross Perot sayin “you people”......real ones don’t talk like that

Explain to me whats wrong with saying black people?

I use all of those adjectives except african american because whites can use that as well..

And as far as politicians, they're stuck on POC and black and brown.
