Stephen A. Smith just said Lebron and Melo will opt out in 2014 and try and team up.

"You can't blame the media they're in the business of selling ad space and the way they do that is by getting people to read their product. Many fans want the Heat to break up, so they feed that demand. The media is just trying to create a narrative to sell copy, that I can respect on some level. On the other hand its the fans and bystanders, especially on the GB, who think it could actually happen, that are worthy of laughter. You have to be a special brand of ignorant, stupid or a combination of both to think that the end of the Big 3 is near.

No one seems to ask the most logical question, if LeBron even had a reason to leave, where would he go and improve his situation? This notion that he'd go to the Lakers is so mindboggling in its stupidity, it's hard to believe people even pretend to believe it. Dwight Howard just left after getting there! That says something about Howard, but it also says something about how someone on the inside looks upon the Lakers' situation. LBJ doesn't like Kobe. He sure isn't following in his footsteps. He isn't helping him win any more titles. LBJ left one idiot owner, he isn't going to work for another. Jim Buss is not a chip off his father's block.

But perhaps even more absurd is the notion that LeBron might go back to Cleveland. This is almost entirely the handiwork of Brian Windhorst. A reporter asks LeBron whether he would ever CONSIDER returning to Cleveland and he gives a politically correct "yea" response and from that vacuous response, this rubbish has taken on a life of its own. Why would anyone harbor the possibility that LeBron might return to a city he already jilted, to play for an owner that trashed him publicly and even insinuated he had dirt he might spill. LeBron may have forgiven, but I doubt he's forgotten.

And he's going to return so he can play the rest of what remains of his prime with a core that thus far can't rise above the top of the lottery, for a coach he had no confidence in when he left, for about 30 mil. less over the course of a new contract. And by the way he's going to abandon his friends, the best organization in perhaps all of pro sports, one of the best owners, a championship winning coaching staff and a steady stream of top-flight role players so he can go back to a place that other free agents were refusing to go to when King James was there the last time! Really? When has a premium free agent ever left a situation where he was winning championships? I think LeBron would take his chances with Pat Riley even if D-Wade was done. People don't seem to realize how big a deal it is for a franchise player to bolt. It's an agonizing process. It's unimaginable that LeBron would do it twice, especially consider where he sits now."

I usually agree with the Media story things, but for Melo and Bron to opt out isnt a stretch at all. I believe SAS on this one as of right now they both might do it. Of course the Lakers feel they get em, so does any other team that has cap space.

i didnt say they wouldn't opt out but you just skipped over everything else at that nikkas keep sayin you see bron left cleveland (that's because he was tired of fukkin losing) is he losing here ? them nikkas lost one series since the mavs finals and that was the only one ? :laff: where you want the nikka to go ? the same place howard just left cuz them nikkas didnt have his back while he was hurt lettin the media trash him ? you think bron gonna play for pringles ? and what if he asks jim bus to hire phil like dwight did if he says no you think bron still gonna sign on ? nikka melo would tell that nikka bron fukk no before it even came to that u nikkas dont think shyt through :laff: because fukk logic nikkas just want Bron out of miami nothing more nothing less he could go whereverrrrr else and nikkas wouldnt care long as he aint playin wit wade & bosh who else is close to tying kobe in rings who holds weight besides duncan ? Wade is :laff: he already on his ass win one more and that's 4 come on b use your brain

Remember when people thought LeBron teaming up with Wade was impossible. SAS was the first person to drop that weeks before they signed and everyone was going in on him making shyt up. Then it happened and nikkas had to STFU. And a couple of months back he broke the Doc Rivers to LAC before everyone.

Ya'll nikkas need to know that SAS is close to alot of the top players. They tell him alot of shyt in confidence that they don't tell other reporters. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be true.

Also eventhough Kobe and Bron stans despise each other, the two guys apparently like each other. I have yet to hear one say a bad thing about the other. Bron has CONSISTENTLY since he came into the league been on Kobe's dikk calling him the best player for much of the last decade and always saying he watches his games and tries to learn from him. Kobe has also been quoted consistently saying that LeBron is the player he most would want to play with and that they would fit well together. He's also said Melo is one his closest friends.

It wouldn't surprise me if they teamed up in 2014. Lakers would have cap space to sign 3 max contracts. Kobe/Gasol would prolly split one of the max contacts slots. And the rest of the cap space would go to Melo and Bron. Then fill the rest of the roster with veterans trying to get some rings before they retire.

It would basically be Miami 2010 all over again.

I know you wanna believe these guys hate each other and are adversarial but its far from the truth. Stop imputing your feelings onto Bron. There is almost no chance he stays in Miami after 2014. They will be an old team with little to no cap space.
