They were saying around $9-10 million for Shumpert, you gotta add the "Keep LeBron happy" tax to whatever these guys are getting.

The LeBron La-Familia stimulus package is tooooooo real :wow:

JR Smith might opt out hoping to swindle for another guaranteed contract :whatnikka:

LeBron get n***as paid man, made Norris Cole and Chalmers look like respectable PG's :whatnikka:

How many playoff births?
That's one decent year out of how many?
Doesn't matter. In the east he'd be in the offs. He's more successful than Kyrie as a #1 option and has never had a solid #2 option to back him up.

Saying he's not a number one option who can take a team to the finals, is right.

Saying he's not worthy of being a number one option at all is wrong,

It's unfortunate if he and LeBron never get a chance to have a playoff run together but I think he's gone. Probably Lakers...

I was just thinking shyt Kevin Love can be the second or even first scoring option on the Cavs....

celtics better ready up a tight sign and trade package a white star in Boston is what the league is missing.

At this point if Love really wanna bounce trade him to the Lakers for their Rockets pick, Randle, and either Young/Jordan Hill to make the contract work. Love gets LA and bird rights 5th year, Mitch 'Ain't nobody got no time that' Kupchak gets his happy edomite superstar.......Win Win :yeshrug:

Kyrie

LeBron
Tristan
Mozgov

Bench 6th man
3 & D
1st round pick
1st round pick

Is still good enough enough :ehh:

Saving me the hassle of typing something out -

And then when he went to Cleveland, he was the scapegoat for their defensive struggles (when he played next to Varejao and Thompson - who neither are the greatest rim-protectors), failing to realize that a two-man combination of those players is never going to work, as you need a proper anchor with size and the fact that Love was going through back spasms (which he's had in the past) - making him look even worse than people's preconceived notions.

Once he got over his back issues, Mozgov was added and they had credible defensive wings - the Cavs had one of the better defenses in the league (their defense was even statistically better with him ON the floor) --

"During the regular season, the Cavaliers had a net rating of plus-6.6 with Love on the court; without him, it plummeted to minus-1.5, and the team had a lower assist percentage, rebound percentage, effective field goal percentage, offensive rating and assist-to-turnover ratio, plus a higher (worse) defensive rating. Cleveland’s offensive rating also dropped from 112.7 to 107.9 when Love left the court during the regular season, while the opponent’s offensive rating, effective field goal percentage and total rebound percentage rose with him off the floor."

And that's why we need to provide context when discussing his defense. :manny:
I could probably find some advanced stats that say Boozer isn't a terrible defender, but I watched him closely for years and know he's compete shyt

Kevin is a good rebounder, but he offers zero rim protection and whenever I watch him hes food in 1v1 situations. He's not active unless he's going for a rebound

You gonna tell me when you watch him you think he's a solid defender ? And don't mention rebounds, yes we all know he grabs boards

Because he wasn't treated as such. He left because Kahn thinks y'all were right.
Dude doesn't have the personality to be Number one

Naturally that role comes with it's own responsibilities, like answering to why your team lost (even if you contributed 100%)

Inspiring rest of team to be better, leading by example
