After the Michelle Beadle sh!t, he has no business threatening or calling out anybody, especially any Black individuals. I thought I was gonna post a thread on this as I just read about it on CNN, but you wolves are already on it! :salute: Glad I ain't the only thinking the same about SAS. Hypocritical b!tch n!kka in the worst way. Got tarred and feathered by Beadle, had to tuck his tail and apologize, but now feels ballsy enough to go after Durant. I hope Meryl Streep sends him an autographed tee shirt.

This nikka is a wrestler who started buying into his own gimmick.
After watching that segment.. these dudes are :ooh::blessed: when a star athlete gets at them personally simply because its ratings gold for them. They set a trap, wait, and hope for a heated response. They don't want to talk about Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for a hour and a half every morning. Durant calling SAS out was the best thing to happen to him in months. Soon as he heard Durant got at him SAS was

:dwillhuh: almost every athlete that is a "villain" by the media is considered one of or the very best in their respective sport;

Barry Bonds
Mayweather
Allen Iverson

the top 3 most hated players by the media and yet everyone of them are considered all time greats in their sport :heh: media has NO control over anything they just might have you thinking they do... Media tried to shyt on Mayweather so hard during the Pacquiao fight it ended up being his biggest pay day :bryan:

Terrel Owens was HATED by the media, hes top 3 receiver of ALL time
Charles Barkley was HATED by the media, hes still an all time great and the general public doesnt even care about the shyt he does anymore. This mafukka was THROWING MIDGETS THROUGH WINDOWS
Lets not forget Randy Moss was hated by the Media, another top 3 receiver of ALL time and he still went on to set records and be a fan favorite :heh:
You are wrong about Charles. He was loved by the media because he gave them constant quotes. In regards to the other athletes you mention, the media hate doesn't really affect them until the end of their careers. The constant media trashing of T.O. killed his career early, same for Iverson. Bonds who was still a monster at the plate, was blackballed partly because of what the media was going to the team that signed him. Mayweather is the face of domestic abuse because of the media. Ask Kareem Abdul Jabbar who was really hated by the media about his post career opportunities in the NBA. He blames a lot of it on how the media portrayed him to the public...

I was more talking about how the fans perceived these players and how they are regarded by US the people who the media cater to.

I did say "few" and you gave a few, but just for arguments sake:

Mayweather has 95% of the Western Hemisphere hating him, when he really is a unique generational talent who should be a hero/fan-favorite. He capitalized on his hate like no other though.

Barry Bonds might have let the pressure get to him in the playoffs :francis:... And the media won't let him in the Hall of Fame...:francis:.... And him being hated by the media (and by extension the fans) caused nobody to want to offer him a contract to extend his career :francis:

Iverson's legacy will be forever tied with the negative thug imagery, "practice", and other narratives. Media painted him as a cancer and he couldn't extend his career...

T.O. also burned all his bridges and was left hanging at the end of his career.

Randy Moss :ehh:

These guys were successful, but how many people really want to be the villain? Most athletes want to be loved and revered.

Mayweather did that to himself for marketing reasons , hes actually a cool guy and shyt , he was selling his fights as the bad guy but thats on him, not the media..

Everyone knows Barry Bonds not in the Hall of Fame makes the Hall of Fame look bad, not Barry bonds :heh: The same year he was eligible NO ONE mad the Hall of Fame including players the media loved (Craig Biggio).

The media hated Iverson but he is one of, if not the most influential player since Jordan in the NBA.. the fans and general public followed everything this guy did for 10 years :heh: Media had no control over it..

Fans look at TO as the #2 or #3 receiver of all time :heh: Media shytting on him didnt change their reception..

again you are confusing what im saying.. TEAMS might not want to fukk with these players due to their misconception of bad publicity (or just not wanting to deal with it at all) or maybe something behind closed doors, whatever the reason..

but the FANS and THE GENERAL PUBLIC, the people the MEDIA CATER TO - could CARE LESS what the media did to these athletes.. how is this hard to understand ? Media votes for Hall of Fame, but majority of people know Barry Bonds is the GOAT for baseball :heh:

Talking about intimate decisions such as the one SAS is claiming is not the same as being cordial. Its the same as running into some chick you work with at a club 2yrs ago and chatted. If someone asked you if you "talk" to her, you would give a definitive "No."

SAS knew the exact context as to what Durant was speaking about when he said he doesn't speak to him and just like a bytch would, he tried to muddy the water and make it seem otherwise with frivolous information to hide that fact. If you know him and speak to him like that SAS then why would you use a confidential "source" instead of just asking Durant himself...with you knowing him so well I mean?

His logic is laughable as is his credibility. "It must be true since you didnt sign the extension."..."I'm being told that Durant will leave for Los Angeles."....then back pedals "I said, Los Angeles was one of the prime considerations."...etc

The fact is he is saying he was told by "someone close" that Durant is leaving for LA. Durant explicitly noted that no one close to him could have told him that. He isnt even denying that it is true or not which is the main point that Durant is pissed. He's pissed because SAS is implying that someone within Durant's inner circle of close people told him personally of this. I guarantee you that Durant wouldve said nothing had SAS just said that he was told by someone as opposed to implying that it came from his close family/friends. That shyt can tear a family apart and I understand Durant not allowing SAS to compromise that.

SAS wont say that he heard it from an intern or a business assoc of Durant's because that hurts credibility and makes him unable to paint an aura of intimacy with the situation. By insinuating that it was "someone close" it legitimizes his claim while having no burden of proof and being allowed to keep the facade up of being an insider. Its easy as shyt and women do this shyt all the time to fukk up relationships and thats why I call it a bytch move and Durant called him on it.
and everything you said goes for durants friends

HE nor YOU know if they told SAS or not

ANY journalism in 2015 is done like this:

journalist gets text, email, message etc from someone close to story

journalist pays person in money, favors, blowjobs, intel, mutual satisfaction, etc

journalist gets story

cops snitch on cases... people snitch on celebs... who they fukking... where they at so paps show up.. what drugs they on... what they talked about at dinner last night

and what you think is said when asked about it?? "wasn't me.... i didn't tell them shyt"

durant has no clue if his fam told a best friend who told a cousin to told SAS in exchange for courtside seats to the heat game... or $200 bucks... or just to get in tight with him

like he says roc nation are his people... who knows what they leak to him, to get a story out, to help other teams make way for KD next summer

who knows who was texting him all weekend, saying chill

but for someone who's been around the league for 20 years... i don't think you make it very far making up complete bullshyt ass stories the whole time

i think it's much more likely for some "source" to get 1st-3rd hand knowledge of someone saying "kd might go to the lakers"

than it is for SAS to pull this completely out of his ass with NOTHING to back it up

Gotta side with Stephen A on this one:yeshrug:

How many sources were saying Bron was going to NYC/Miami/CLE/ etc.? But he kept his cool and wasnt emotional.

Gotta get your emotions in check, KD:francis:
Someone asked Durant about SAS' bullshyt and he responded.

We have a whole season ahead of us, so discussing NEXT year's rosters is stupid at this point, but I guess when you're a Lakers/Knicks fan, fast forwarding through this season is a defense mechanism. Beyond that, he's not just saying "sources" where it could be anything from the player himself to some bleacher report article he read. He's saying that it came from one of Durants people, which gives it more credibility to people like you because he was right about something he said 4 years ago.

Durant is going to be pestered with stupid questions all year because of shyt like this. SAS SHOULD be called out and blackballed by athletes. He is constantly name dropping and telling us he has personal friendships with the athletes and their friends and family but he's simply using them to try to get privileged information that he can leak for his own personal gain. That's not what friends do, that's what a snake does. And that's why SAS' loyal fans are left talking about that one time he predicted LeBron going to Miami 4 years ago but they have no other examples to mention.

This is false. For example:

Corporate cacs that barely watch the NBA only know what they know about it from the talking heads on sports radio and ESPN.

Thots know all about who your favorite athletes are dating from TMZ/Mediafakeout.

They get most of their information from bias sources.
