This is a expanding venture for them. They want to control sports talk radio ... beyond terrestrial platforms.

Except they cant have a ESPN channel on sirius radio because you're gonna have your loyal customers subscribing to another company just to get your content.

So you license the talent you already have and produce shows that can be picked up by the other company and you still get paid.

Mad Dog also has been looking for a black sports host... said no one was worthy before .. now Stephen A worked perfectly.

But of course if he gets fired from ESPN ... he'll get picked up by Sirius Radio but that will be his official start with that company.

And honestly you should have guessed it went down like this ... otherwise how the hell could he be yelling sirius xm on ESPN if they weren't getting some money off it. Its like Howard stern yelling 'IM going to sirius' on his last leg of his terrestrial radio career.. the company banned him from mentioning XM radio

I can't stand how ya'll ignore context at every turn to protect SAS, then turn him into a freedom fighter.

Are you serious...... people actually find a problem with what Stephen A. said? He, once again, said nothing wrong. He is absolutely correct - Roger Goodell shouldn't be fired because an NFL player punches a woman. It's not like he is for domestic violence, or turning the league into a group of players that are only allowed to play if they hit women. That's like saying David Stern should get fired because Kobe cheated on his wife.

If you want to say Goodell sucks and should lose his job because he is terrible at it - I agree. But he should lose his job because a small percentage of NFL players happened to commit a crime? Give me a break.
