Yeah talking to you nikka... Not gossiping like a female

So keeping informed on the chatty patty bullshyt is somehow different from stating your opinion on it?

Facts is, you're interested in this story just like the rest of us, or you wouldn't have bothered to click in.

The title clearly states what the thread is all about.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
So like I been saying.....he's passing off hearsay and rumors as if he's got access to anything "nuclear". As big of a fan as you seem to be of journalism, then you should recognize bullshyt better when you see it. Here's his initial quote on the matter....

“Keep in mind this, one of the biggest reasons I’m told, that Kevin Durant may have the Lakers at the top of his list, is because the Lakers have been led to believe, by whom specifically I do not know, but the Lakers have been led to believe that it is a very good chance that the following year Russell Westbrook is coming.”

Once he got called out on the lie that the LAKERS was a possibility, he then ran with the bullshyt backtrack....

“You want to start something? That's just not the wise thing to do, especially when you have no validity. I'm going to repeat: I said if OKC, if Kevin Durant decides to leave OKC, I'm hearing that L.A. is a prime spot that he's considering...."

Nobody told this clown nothing. He was piecing together second hand info just like everyone is doing with Bron just cause Bron has a house in LA. SAS saw or heard KD had a residence in LA or spends the offseason there and since he didn't sign the extension, assumed it was because of the Lakers. To add insult to injury.....it wasn't even the Lakers that got one of KD's meetings, it was the Clippers. More proof this clown was guessing. Even in that quote that he claimed he "stands by" he mention the cities KD would want to play for included New York and DC, neither of which got a meeting. If someone in KD circle was feeding him info, how could he be so damn wrong about everything? How does San Antonio and Boston get meetings and the guy with the "inside info" didn't know?

He's not as important as he's making it seem he is. He been in the game a long time and like I said, he's maybe hung with these guys numerous times before. But that's where it stops. He's nowhere near the inner circles of these players to be threatening them with something "nuclear" cause he's not privy to that info. He's just another person running with hearsay and second/third hand info like we are on the internet.
welcome to sports journalism breh. i never said it wasn't rumors and hearsay. in fact him and i both said he doesn't usually talk directly to the players. it's rare that any reporter does. some are good with the entourage, others are good with the front office, others may be good with minor staff, maybe even a few teammates. you get multiple sources then put that together to make a GUESS. if you got it straight from the athlete, then you can quote them directly, but how often does that happen?

you just agreed it was hearsay and rumors, then turned around and he made it up.. if i tell you that the coli is getting shut down on monday, and i work for the coli, then on monday it's still open... did you lie? did you make it up? was it hearsay and rumors? or did you hear it directly from an employee and that employee was wrong

If he operated under the "sources" hustle like everybody else does, then he'd be fine. Where he gets in trouble is acting like his source is someone close to KD/Bron. He wants to portray this image that he's the most connected person in the NBA when in actuality he's moving off of baseless rumors like the rest of us. And it's the Hulk Hogan promos afterwards that makes it even more laughable.

It's been nice watching First Take these last two weeks.
Except for a couple of days when SAS just had to show up and ruin the GODDAMN show.
Bomani and Pablo actually having a two hour conversation about sports,
and previously Ryan Clark and Will Cain actually having a two hour conversation about sports.
I don't understand ESPN's obsession with SAS, when he opens his mouth I hit the FF button
and then usually the DELETE button. I literally feel dumber every time I listen to a SAS take.
I think he's on thin ice fukkING with LBJ like this, his ass could end up getting sacrificed if the NBA
says: "Hey this MTHRFCKR crossed the line with Durant, now he's crossing the line with LBJ, something must be done, OR ELSE."
