Wait, Bo was part of the layoffs?

edit: or was SAS talking about Game Theory's cancellation?
I think he's referring to the ESPN layoffs as Outkick had reported the same thing when Game Theory got cancelled and his comments kind of corroborate it. He was on Foxworth's podcast last week, but I'm guessing they're going to let his contract expire.

he just signed his extension last year tho.

must not make crazy money so that makes sense to keep him if he's one of their cheaper contracts. Days of 7 figure checks outside of a few are done. Still don't know how they cut all these heads but pay Troy Aikman and Joe Buck 18 and 14 mill respectively for a sport beavis and butthead can be the commentators on.

In the grand scheme of things, they're just doing what Disney is forcing them to do so, so I wouldn't put the blame on the ESPN for the layoffs. People had been complaining about the MNF commentary for years, so I can totally see why they'd throw them the bag to solve the problem and get some consistency.

They'd do the same thing to get that TNT crew if the opportunity ever arose to do so even if it meant replacing SAS, Greeny and Wilbon on set.

Greeny I don't get the appeal. He's aite, but after that Martin Luther c00n shyt :mjpls:

Wilbon and Kornheiser are PTI so I get those 2 getting paid.

He’s their Ryan Seacreast. The boring, safe choice that you know will do his job and go home without causing an issues behind the scenes. The current lineup was more so about quelling the behind the scene issues the show has had over the years and not actually getting one that fits and compliments each other.

Wilbon, Greeny and SAS are all making big money at the network and you don’t have to worry about complaining or one trying to double cross the other like what was happening under the previous lineups.
