Millions of blue collar folks risk 35k salaries every day from smoking weed

And those people are idiots as well. That's why the comparison to crackheads is accurate. Maybe there is something in the weed that I am missing.. cause there is no logical reason one would risk their whole livelihood and how they feed their kids and fam over getting a temporary high. Some people risk entire careers. You go to college 4 years work your ass off just to blow it all on some weed? The risk/reward just doesnt compute to me on any level. I laugh at the threads about people trying to find all these ways to beat piss tests cause at the root when you look at they have actually justified their decision to risk their future over some weed. Thats not ok. That's crackhead logic.

And i dont care if people smoke. It's what people are willing to risk to smoke that bothers me. There are professions and jobs that are indifferent to weather you smoke weed. If you want to get high you should find one of of those.

I disagree on that point as well. What if dudes are smoking before games? Before practice? Weed can interact with certain drugs and supplements they are taking to be fit. It can hinder a lot in the body. Especially for a finely tuned athlete. Its a health and safety concern. Agree to disagree :yeshrug:

Exactly. I personally know dozens of people (close friends and family members) who have lost jobs, money, relationships all behind their addiction of weed.

This only holds weight if they're not happier getting high.......

Normally he's a c00n, but I always agree with him on this subject. If somebody is paying you millions and they tell you in order to collect those millions you have to give up weed, what idiot would say fukk it and keep smoking?

Even if I was addicted I would do everything I could to get help & quit.

Prime example was when Brett Favre was addicted to pain killers & vicodin, he quit in the offseason and went to rehab, got healthy, then came back.

I do think that a full yr suspension might be excessive, but these nikkas gotta stop.

How are you gonna look your mama in the eye when she's asking you why her house is being repo'd and you tell her "I couldn't put the blunt down mama:to:"

Yes a total joke that offseason dude was seen in Hattiesburg drinking still. Brett probably never quit his drinking or pain killer addictions. Folks actually think he wasn't on pain killers or some illegal substances his final year with the Vikings......please.

Let's not forget dude's final year he had a bad ankle from the season before (that the Saints gave him). Dude had his throwing arm so swollen that it was purple and he even got knocked out versus the Pats but the league covered it up even after he was taken away on a cart with damn stars flying around his head like the cartoons.

Let's also not forget that QB position and to a certain extent the WR position is almost never busted when it comes to illegal drug use and PEDs (NFL testing). That is a joke in itself and tells you all you need to know about the validity of the NFL drug testing.

I had to stop smoking weed because it didn't get me high anymore and the people who smoke weed nowadays are really annoying. I was a perfectly functional weedhead, but these new nikkas are a fukking disgrace.

Be yourself even if it costs you millions of dollars on a drug :dead:
Breh...money isn't everything to everybody ...some of those same athletes you consider "wise" may have cte and making it worse year after year (I honestly pray not)...but money is not most important for everybody. Dude is financially cool I assume...he gets a year off and can come back...some people will work 40years and not make what he had today...it's all about perspective I suppose.
