Boston were only down by 6 points in the 4th when Lebron started cooking breh. What was he supposed to do ? Do nothing so people can say he choked and he is not clutch?

Although you kinda forget that it was just a 4 point game early in the 4th. If LeBron doesn't show up/especially after Kyrie tweaked his ankle they probably lose. Celtics just beat them when down 5 late in the fourth in game 3. But yea...it was a sensational quarter/game. Kyrie deserves his props. What LeBron did was basically his average outside of game 3.

And on the offensive end, even in tandem, they could not counter him.
They combined for 27 points on 8 of 28 shooting — the same point total Smart had solo in Game 3. Bradley was the Celtics’ high scorer with just 19 points. Those narratives that Isaiah Thomas is somehow expendable met an abrupt and deserved demise Tuesday. The Celtics miss his offense, and defense doesn’t much matter when Irving is reveling so deep in the zone.
Smart finished just 1 for 9 from the field, missing left, right, short and long all night in what is known in math circles as regression to the mean.
His most egregious miss was a 3-point bid with 5:45 left to play that, had it gone would have pulled the Celtics, trailing 98-92 at the time, to within 3 points. But it refused to fall, Love buried a 3 on the other end, and it was all over but the final accounting.

The comparison been made me sick. People are going by overall stats like it's the end all be all.

Stephen A actually has a point about LeBron probably deliberately or even worse instinctively playing badly so he's going into the Finals as an underdog. The pressure is suddenly off to a certain extent since Cleveland lost in Game 3 & struggled for 2 quarters in Game 4.
Golden State are now overwhelming favorites to win it but it would've been seen as a 50-50 series if they both swept their way to the Finals.
