I'm listening to His & Her's and I can't be surprised that are defending him. And they are even playing the "Well, you didn't hear him right" card.
Cari Camphion: once you say provoke, people can't think/go crazy, after that...
...as if the word turned us into idiots and we couldn't think for ourselves.
I said it 20,000x; SAS isn't sayin' this if [insert white NFL player] hit his [white] wife.
I'm glad they brought up Mrs. Rice's race, because that is a big part of this, IMO. They aren't saying it, but, they seem to have similar views as me. They aren't hold SAS feet to the fire, though.
This is about the sterotype of neck-snapping-finger-waving-guuuurrrrllllll-whatchugondo?! type black women.
Yes, (and they said it) there's a big difference, in the response, when black and white women are in domestic abuse situations, but, they stopped even talking about SAS, at that point. He was guilty of the same.
I'm tired of media heads pretending we're havin' a "discussion" via TV, Twitter, etc. They say that as if they feel we're all on equal footing. We all know; they feel superior to us because they're on TV--stop it. They dominate the convo and don't like ppl disagreeing.
All in all; if you want to hear black ppl keepin' it real, listen to His & Her's.
Michael Smith & Jemele Hill sit and have a concise and honest discussion on issues. And they stick to what they know about.
He just shouting out SAS for bringin' his bit to life.
Again, SAS said this about black women, not women.
Stop insulting ppls intelligent with the "You shouldn't hit a woman BUT."
And I'm done with this "Multi Media Conglomerates" just "opening up a dialogue."
