Is Steph Curry Really Back?

Curry had been slowly declining in speed, too. According to SportVU tracking data, he averaged 5.21 mph on offense in the Portland series, or covering about 460 feet per minute. In OKC, that dipped to 5.12 (450 feet). In the Finals, it fell to 4.88 (430 feet).

Always been fascinating that the Cavs can acknowledge that Steph Curry wasn't the same guy in the 2016 Finals after his MCL injury but people who watch the games as fans of basketball can't.

We have tacking data these days that shows Curry wasn't even running at the same speed but people think there's just some agenda to protect the guy

What's that's says for LeBron and Kyrie throughout the playoffs? What's not to say a players speed won't drop due to the fatigue of the playoffs and the Finals intensity. Without that, those numbers mean shyt.

So I guess that means parity has returned to the nba, durant hasn't ruined the league afterall, warriors need KD to carry curry's bum ass and Houston are now going to the finals:mjgrin:.

If the warriors still go on to win the title this season, I expect all of these talking points (which always temporarily gets suspended whenever the warriors lose a few games) to return, like clockwork.
