Real vet talk.

I hope KD sees it as constructive.

:ohhh: this niqqa Stephen Jackson is better off coaching football
It's not at all constructive. It's captious. Especially when Durant has played great on the defensive end in this series. Jackson should know better; he's allowing himself to get caught up in this let's point the finger frenzy without looking at the whole picture, that folk without any sense seem to partake in.

Kevin Durant needs to come out and show the entire world that he is the best player in this series.

I want to see him go off for 20 in the first quarter. Come out angry kd

I think Golden State would love that too. TRUST YOUR TEAMMATES. I say get the role players involved early. build their confidence up. It's gonna take more than just Kd and Russ to beat the warriors. If it's Durant- 40. Westbrook 35 and the next leading score has 12, OKC IS GOING HOME.

KD has done a good job defending but he is kind of right, KD looks like he is giving no effort whenever he turns the ball over in the last mins, this isn't the only instance. He feels so discouraged, and just puts his head down and give half ass effort.

Lmao letting people blow by him and being long/lucky enough to block their shot from time to time for 2 games is great defense?

Clearly somebody hasn't been watching this series.
Oh I have. And I know great defense when I see it. I'm not giving Durant the credit of being called a great defender because he blocks shots. How many times has he been blown by or left his man wide open? He uses his length well at times, but usually it's out of necessity because his man has went right around him.

It's the same thing when people tell me DWade is a great defender because he's the all time leader in blocks by a 2 guard. It doesn't equal great defense.

:mjlol:

He's done A LOT more than just block shots. Obviously you haven't being paying much attention.

Really? Like what? Mind you he has the easiest matchup of anyone of note in this series.
The fact you think he has the easiest matchup (when OKC has been switching and trapping all series - he isn't just guarding ONE player) speaks volumes.

This is what he's been basically doing all series -

He's been shadowing Curry and Klay, contesting and altering shots at the rim or on the perimeter, anchoring the paint when he plays at the 5, swarming ball-handlers, switching on ANY player and remaining effective - containing the ball-handler or the roll man, getting back in transition and stopping shots in the first third of the shot clock etc etc. He's been doing it all. He's a large reason why the Warriors' offense has been inconsistent throughout the series.

Wait, wasn't KD sprinting down court to cover a streaker, then switched off on whoever was next to Curry? How are you being lazy when you run down court to take away break-away pass?

Jack should have went a step further and broke down the reason for that turnover...because Durant is awkward as f*ck in the post with absolutely no feel as a result of being a 7 foot feather with no strength and lacking any post footwork or arsenal of moves.
Nah. The turnover happened because KD didn't notice Steph stay and zone up when Waiters went down the baseline. If he had, he would've seen Waiters open near the other corner. The same thing happened on the next Oklahoma City possession and he still didn't adjust.

Westbrook had multiple plays like that one KD defensive lapse. Westbrook was TERRIBLE on Defensive in game 6, especially on Steph. I'm not hearing much about that though...
