Chandler got done in by nagging injuries. He was a good player at his peak..not his fault Memphis overpaid him. Anybody wouldve secured the bag in that situation. His frustration with Chandler is random and misplaced. Stephen was in the league long enough to understand the Chandler situation. Shyt happens all the time.

Most Jackson's statement was directed at the Memphis organization.

And if you getting paid as much as Parsons is, you should get criticized for not producing.

This can be said for ALOT of players at his position alone. Wes Matthews, Barnes, Ariza, etc..nba owners are willing to overpay and take risk. He got the Dallas deal cause Cuban is not a risk-adverse owner. He got the Memphis deal cause small markets have to take risk and overpay.

Barnes and Ariza were secret MVP's in their respective finals series. They deserved the bag.

I think at the heart of it Stephen feels he was a better basketball player than chandler and it burns him that someone of a lesser caliber could get paid way beyond any contract he ever received.
