Yeah, that's pretty much the concensus on here. Hopefully, part 2 is scarier.

Funny thing is that Sophia is playing the younger version of Adams in HBO's upcoming Sharp Objects. Have a feeling it's gonna be Chastain that lands the role though.

Yup you can see a few snippets of it in HBO's 2018 preview. From what I saw it looks really promising. It'll be a mini-series.

Apparently the DVD dropping next month will NOT contain the director's cut of the film (although it will have deleted scenes which will be viewable in the extras).
