Stephen Silas ‘broke down in tears’ after a game earlier this year because he felt he couldn't connect with his team, per @WindhorstESPN

Jalen green is just Nick young with a green light
He routinely takes the worst shots I've ever seen and plays zero defense.

KPJ is not a PG, he'd probably be a little better if he didn't have the rock so much in his hands but he's still a guy that it's very hard to imagine building a winner with.

The entire Rockets squad plays like they just met 5 mins ago at the Y

Adding to what I said earlier, Scoot Henderson or Amen Thompson is the right choice for the team, not Wemby.

That's not passive aggressively saying "Houston will ruin Wemby's potential!" because I'm pretty convinced the Rockets would be better off with Scoot. Sometimes fit matters way more than a prospect in a vacuum.

They need someone who can point these guys to where they got to go on the floor. Somebody who's not only talented, but a strong real leader, takes no BS, knows the game, etc.

Somebody who's going to check them on the court, old or young, get confrontational when necessary and raise their games. That ain't Wemby. When Wemby takes a few consecutive bad, off-balance ugly shots it'll be a green light for the rest of the team to look for their's. Scoot Henderson/Amen Thompson would reel that shyt in real quick and tell everyone to knock it off. They're real point guards.

I haven't seen a lot of Scoot so I can't call it, but they definitely need a floor general type of PG - i think they also gotta make a choice between Green and KPJ, cause they both play the same position and neither is a PG. Sengun I like, he reminds me a bit of the Joker.

They have parts, but you gotta make some moves to put a winning product on the court.

LOL @ you thinking they even have a shot at 7’5 Frenchie. You seriously think the NBA wants their next big phenom ANYWHERE near that cesspool called the Rockets? I’m not bullshyting when I say that Houston could fall to the #5 pick or worse. If Wembanyama was drafted to the Rockets, his career could be affected by the foolishness surrounding that franchise. Rockets aren’t picking #1 this year, if Silver has anything to say about that.

Wembanyama is going to fit in lovely with San Antonio and Coach Pop though :blessed:
Best believe everyone is scared shytless or Vic going there, but in the event the league is NOT rigged and he does go there, best believe there would be some behind the scenes meetings and moves asap.

KPJ would be gone by end of the week, and maybe even jalen green too. Thr return wouldn’t even matter, they’d just need to be gone asap. And dudes like Josh Christopher a scrub who has attitude oh he’d be gone for free

This is just piss poor journalism

fukk an editor's note, put him on air and make him publicly apologize as he more than likely approved the article before the editor posted it.

I do stand corrected though eventhough I do believe he's in over his head.

They need someone like a Chris Paul and a coach like ThiboGOAT.

Wall is out the league now.

i'm not sure what your point is in regards to the things i said:francis:

that team just like detroit didn't have prior cache and just tried to get as many talented guys as possible. Detroit is willing to reclaim anyone and so is Houston. Compare that to Orlando and OKC. These are guys who are supposed to be on the same tier but these other teams took a leap. If the guys they want to keep stay playing in that environment it'll get worse and worse.

Turnarounds are possible. Look at the suns look at Memphis. But you need to build the right mix of vets and young guys who are talented and are at a cheap price since its their rookie contract. They already have some guys of interest in sengun, J smith, Kenyon martin who can be pros. I can't speak for the rest since I don't watch them that often. would like to include Tari Eason. Infact this is why I like having multiple picks in one draft so you get all your eggs together and push forward without having to have them get used to losing seasons like OKC has with most of the guys they have coming in within a two year period.
