I know our faith in Americans political acumen is at an all time low but even the most crazed republicans take the term limits seriously and would push back hard against this

Nah man they're too power craven. Turtle Mitch got his goal with the courts and had the chance to kill Trump for good after Jan 6th. But he's a bytch and let that fool live. Then fell right back in line. These fools going to find a way to repeal the term limits provision but in a way that keeps past presidents from running after x number of terms or some shyt. They know none of them can hold MAGA together like Trump.
He just proposed a 230 million dollar payment for being wronged in 2020 and they said nothing. They won’t challenge him on anything of consequence.

I think alot of Trump winning this term was disinterest and apathy. Some even might have truly believed his America first BS. Alot of ppl really didn’t even play the game. I can’t see the American public even at this stage allowing it. But having said that, it also wouldn’t surprise me a whole lot either. MAGA is a loud subsection, but a subsection nonetheless. When you put it in front of the average persons eyes like this, iono man. Added to the world of hurt these ppl are already seeing
