Because he doesn't fit that team. Like dude said above, best to use him off the bench. He's basically a 6th man type of player anyway.
How doesn't he when he leads them in assists and rebounding? They need to let Kemba play off the ball more and let Lance set him up. Lance also gets the ball more to Jefferson. It's on Clifford

CLIFFORD WILL BE GONE BEFORE LANCE...
UNDERACHIEVING PLUS BLOWING 20 PT LEADS AT HOME
IS A SIGN OF BAD COACHING.

I'm not sure he's a good coach.

But they OVERachieved last year. This roster is not that good.

His rebound #s are inflated by the fact he regularly jacks boards from Marvin and Jefferson. I'm not saying it's bad thing, it just isn't reflective of his impact. He leads the team in assists, because the other ball-handler would rather jack up inefficient shots, rather than actually pass the ball. Plus they'd have a better offense if Lance actually cut down his passing and looked to score more.

At this point, it's the only thing they can do, still it isn't a recipe for success. Nobody on that starting lineup can shoot efficiently from the perimeter, which is their biggest problem. Jefferson is dealing with more defensive attention, because teams aren't respecting Charlotte's shooting.

He seems to be setting up guys. He has a really good feel playing with Zeller and Jefferson. That team has too many chuckers. LOL
