I think the slept on guy on their staff is Luke Walton. Everyone talks about Ron Adams the Defensive guru. Than Alvin Gentry is their offensive Xs and Os guy who turned them into the run n gun team. Kerr is the players coach who turned Curry into the MVP and has done a great job with the locker room atmosphere. However, I think a lot of the Draymond and Bogut centerd stuff they run, that has triangle offense elements is from the mind of Luke. He used to love stuff like that playing for the Lakers. Has really helped this team go from (one of the) worst to first in passing

He's too young to be a head coach but I think he'll make a great one someday

People laughed at Spoelstra.

With an actual basketball mind behind the scenes, I'm willing to give latitude to the coaching choice.

Hell, what other choice do we have? :knickphil:
:wow:

Why would you attribute this to Walton when Kerr played under Phil & the triangle for 5 seasons?

Read the next sentence. Your right though, I'm sure Kerr had a part in it. But Walton took full advantage of the triangle, as much as anyone I've seen

im not gonna doubt his basketball knowledge, but a coach? someone that not only deals with x's and o's but also manages egos and personalities. dude was a failure as a gm (suns) and i think he will be equally unsuccessful as a head coach
