Not quite that simple. He could have 2/3 down years at UConn and his job would easily be in jeopardy.

Whereas, he could come to the NBA and make good $$. And in 2015, he is going to have a squad hand picked by Phil which will most likely at least be very competitive. Hell, he could always go back to college if it didnt work out.

But lets not act like coaching the NY Knicks aint a step up from coaching UConn:usure:
