stotts shoulda won. lost 4 starters and they got a good shot to make the second round. everyone thought they'd be one of the worst squads in the league but he found a way to win games with only two starter-caliber players. plumlee and aminu out here lookin respectable somehow

I mean, they won the most games in NBA history and nobody saw it coming. Not exactly surprising that the head coach got COY.

Even if Walton coached for half the season, Kerr's system was still implemented from the previous season and he communicated with Luke/the team on a regular basis even when still sidelined

It's definitely a make up call from last year, + you can't just not give coach of the year to a team that won 73 fukking games.

I think people are more-so surprised because Kerr was out for half the season

I think he & Walton should've been co-winners if anything but if they want to give Kerr the entire credit then w/e, not the end of the world

I'm still not a firm believer that Kerr is a great coach moreso than the dubs moving into their prime as a team. And I definitely can't c/s him being coach of the year where he missed half the season, it's so clear this warriors team runs off one another.
