Damn low key the funk soundscape has made a comeback this past year or two. There's definitely some heave Thundercat and some NERD in there as well but you know what, if it makes for good music, I don't care. I'm really digging this revival of instrumentation that isn't straight hip-hop or r&b right now, almost a throwback to the late 80's early 90's.
