You can still be an effective player when you're in your 30's if you have high bball IQ ala Kobe, Kidd, and Nash.
Does anyone expect Nash to shut down the opponent's PG? No! He can still be an effective player running the offense. Nash is still better than any PG on the Lakers roster and Nash can give them 12 PPG's and 8-10 APG.
Did you even watch the Warriors game? You could easily see the difference someone like Nash makes on a team like the Lakers. You have to respect his playmaking ability, passing, and shooting. He also played well off the ball and got his teammates easy baskets. Nash is also clutch and made some clutch shots against the Warriors.
Let's wait a couple of months before we start judging this Laker team that has not been healthy all season. The Lakers will make at least one trade this deadline to try to help the team get better.
I want the team playing well come playoff time instead of having them play their best during the regular season like they did in 2011.

He won't shut anybody down. However, the fact that he can get people better looks, move the ball around, create his own shot and knockdown spot up jumpers makes the Lakers a better team With him. Look at their other pgs, their ass.
