Rondo does.
Only because his offensive-limits force him to be. Rose pacspits at the limits of traditional roles.
Rondo does.
We're living in 2012, not 1912. This rhetoric makes no sense in this day and age.Ive said many times that Derrick Rose is the best player playing PG in the league but he is not the best PG in the league. That title belongs to CP3 and D-Will.
Rondo is the closest to a "pure" point guard that we have in the league after Nash. In another time D-Rose and Westbrook wouldn't even be coveted because they would have got the awful tweener label. But i just call those types guards. No 2 or lead or power guard. They are just simply guards. But Rondo could always have played in the L because he looks to past first and would honestly be content with shooting 5 times a game and averaging 15-20 assists a game if he could.

Ten years ago Rose would not have been a number one pick. They would have said to short to be a SG and not good enough to be a PG.
I agree with him about Russel who has been converted into PG since he hit the NBA, but Rose is a PG, if he had better offensive teammates he'd make better use of them.
I don't want to hear that. Who did Nash have the last seasons in Phoenix when averaged almost 11 assist a game though?![]()
