i have a problem with multimillionaire injury prone athletes just barely passing their physicals to get hefty contracts because of past accomplishments and allocates, and then barely producing while young players could be developed and :eat: in their respective league. get the flip out of the way and give a young healthy jock a chance. i think these teams use these used up players as seat fillers.

:ohhh:

I got no problem with someone whose career has a limited, finite timespan trying to get every dime off of that table that they possibly can, especially when those checks are coming from billionaires who will NEVER go broke. :yeshrug:

i agree with this web post

"All my possessions for a moment of time."

Those were the last words spoken by Elizabeth I, Queen of England, on her deathbed.

I've often wondered what she was thinking about at that moment. Was there something in her life that she had neglected to do when she had the time? Was there something she regretted? Was she just frightened, and wishing she could delay the inevitable a moment longer?

Whatever she was thinking, clearly she understood that her tremendous wealth was no longer of any value whatsoever at that moment. It was all just worthless junk to her, as she gazed out beyond the precipice of eternity.

If she had her life to live all over again, would she live it any differently?

I don't know. I just wonder.

I hope when my end comes, I find no reasons to need more time...
