Shoulda dealt him at the deadline, but what's even funnier is that all it woulda took to keep d-ho was gettin rid of the bowl of piss we hired to coach. shyt's crazy.

So how does that make him a great offensive coach? That just means he's a snake oil salesman with a cute regular season gimmick offense to sell. He can't adjust mid game, mid quarter, shyt he can't adjust at all. His rotations are shyt, he completely disregards post play, runs players into the ground when their hot, often alienates good role players that provide the needed elements his system doesn't account for, he's just a total piece of shyt to be frank with you. The absolute worse, this feels like the Art Shell season with the Raiders but 10x longer. At least Al saw he fukked up quick with a bed and breakfast offense and cut his losses. :beli:
In a way that his system is entertaining to watch and made mofos like barbosa and Diaw look like damn near All Stars and was able to win a lot of games with it.

LOOK, im not saying his shyt is good enough to be a championship contender for you almighty spoiled Laker fans to whom anything short of a title is a massive failure. You mofos have higher expectations. WE GET THAT. But you must admit the man came in with a system that caught the whole league off guard and had many mofos gasping for breath while trying to keep up scoring.

It just doesnt work in the playoffs. We already established that. Doesnt mean it's irrelevant or any less of a great system.

It doesn't work in the playoffs because they never have the best team. Doesn't the best team usually win? If Miami played that way they probably never lose a game.

First, to play that fast you need to rebound first. You cant run if your wing players have to constantly stay back and help rebound. THAT is why Miami couldnt run that offense. If we had a Ben Wallace or Rodman type next to Bosh we'd probably be beating mofos by 30 while resting our starters every night.

The other thing is Phoenix would always run into... San Antonio which would easily match the transition style while adding defense. So i guess yeah they didnt have the best team :ehh:

starting to think the Lakers dodged one with Dwight. Imagine if his season last year is indicative of his career post back surgery, that combined with his awgul intangibles, maybe LA's best move was letting dude walk. Well, the best move wouldve been trading him actually. But maybe us not re-signing him to a max was a blessing in disguise.

I think hes using Phil as an excuse and people buying it. He never wanted to be here and Phil woulda been too tough on him. He just aint bout that championship life

Nah, wanting Phil over f'ucktoni is common sense. That's not to say he woulda fared any better he prolly woulda of lost his mind under Phil. But he wasn't wrong for citing the coach as a reason why he left.

D'Antoni has a better coaching resume then Kevin "under 500" McHale though

I really hope we win one before his laker tenure ends, he deserves it. He has fully embraced being a laker.

Some of Dwight's concerns were valid but some of it was just him being a bytch.

How you gonna be surprised that a fanbase hasn't accepted you when you refuse to even hint that you'll resign? :dahell:

That's like a bytch telling her man she don't trust him around other women when she got a gang of male "friends" that she hangs out with all the time.

Lakers fans were down for Dwight till he started that bullshyt. The only things Dwight had a right to complain about was the Lakers not hiring Phil Jackson and his teammates hanging him out to dry on the defensive end. Everything he brought on himself by being wishy washy about staying, quitting on the team during games, not taking things seriously, and talking shyt about people behind they back.

And I told people MONTHS ago about Dwight not wanting to play the Pick and Roll despite how effective he is at it, so Nash saying it isn't all that surprising to me. Like IGSaint said, Dwight thinks he's the next Hakeem Olajuwon and wants to be a go to post player even though he CLEARLY sucks at it. Feed him the ball in the post and it's gonna result in a missed shot, missed freethrows, or turnovers. If he ain't dunking he aint shyt.

Good post and I certainly agree with the bolded. It was clear that Dwight had no intentions of playing in the p&r, he was slipping screens way too often and not allowing Nash to set him up. I actually just looked up the numbers in the difference between his post-ups and p&r.. it's depressing really.

P&R: 79.6% FG
Post-Up: 44.5% FG

Actual plays run
P&R: 164
Post-Up: 649

So he converts buckets roughly 80% of the time out of the pick and roll and only 44 % of his post-ups results in a bucket, yet he posts up 649 times during the season and only have 164 p&rs run for him.

That's mind blowing really.. how can someone not understand this? How can he just look at these numbers and go.. well, I still think I should post-up :mindblown:

Breh you really gotta change that screen name...the irony is too much. :laff:
