YALL are the ones who cant explain how sundials are perfectly circular yet the earths orbit around the sun is supposedly elliptical, or why no one experiences the DRASTIC change in acceleration moving due north or due south, which would be 1000% detectable if the earth were actually spinning at 1000mph(its not), or why you cant just hover in a helicopter and have the spinning earth rotate your destination towards you, or show an example of a body of water "curving" around a surface, or how "gravity" can keep a 2 ton truck stuck to the surface of the earth while at the same time allowing birds to fly freely and water to slosh around unimpeded, etc etc

Eratosthenes then measured the angle of a shadow cast by a stick at noon on the summer solstice in Alexandria, and found it made an angle of about 7.2 degrees, or about 1/50 of a complete circle.
