Like another poster said, it seems like Smith is reporting his interpretation of his conversation with Gettleman. I don't mean to shyt on dude because he's been a very good player, but I wouldn't want him with Kelvin Benjamin. I'd have a hard time believing he would relinquish the No.1 role to a rookie.
