Real fukking talk, I love my Panthers but the fan base is status. Its hard out here for real fans, every time I tell folk I rep them Panther they look at me like . I stay catching hell at work too..

I was feeling some kinda way about that before too, and I was living in NY claiming the Panthers. Even though my pops was a big Jets fan, I never came around to rocking with them like that. So the Panthers were born in 95, and I was like that's the state that has my roots, always down there for the summers, I'ma rock with them. My pops was on some then was like when Bubby Brister put that shovel pass in Sam Mills' gut for a pick 6 and we won our first-ever game against the Jets. Even when we went to the Super Bowl, I would listen to the Charlotte radio stations on the internet and be like at all the bandwagon fans that was nowhere to be seen two years before when we was 1-15 under Seifert. But I understand the hustle. Plus you can't drop a football franchise in this area and expect loyalties to die. Most people around here have been rocking with the Cowboys, Steelers, Redskins, Falcons for YEARS. You won't have a true switchover until you have a generation of cats who came up only on the Panthers.
