Steve Smith's reaction to Josh Norman claiming to be the DPOY

Coming back from break, he says he, Norman, is good, not great. And he says he won't call him great because of the lack of longevity. Says this is Norman's first year starting a full 16 and its only his 4th year or so in the league. Also says he is helped by playing with the best LBs in the league. Says instead, Thomas Davis should be considered for DPOY.
Also went onto name his top 5 CBs, who all played man predominantly, which has been a consistent issue brought up regarding Norman's legitimacy as the DPOY. He essentially said our system isn't conducive to shutdown corners.

Norman ain't even the best defensive player on the team. Might not even be the 2nd best. How is he gonna be DPOY?

Norman is on a defense that has Uncle Luke, TD, Chi Raq Short, and Star Lotuleilei.....
It's not really a stretch to say he's the 4th or 5th best player on our defense...

He's been ok but definitely looked better in Carolina...that's why he didn't get paid here....
Sigh... just shut up Josh. I love the confidence, but u can't boast about being the best when others on the team have been just as good such as kawann, uncles luke and Tommy. Hell, even Coleman has been a surprise. U can say ur the best cb, but saying your the best dpoy is kinda shytting on your own teammates.
