Yeah he outplayed Timmy, his ability to annoy people is elite as well.

Angers Vince Carter to the point that Vince elbows him and gets ejected, doesn't even flinch
When Willie Reed of the Pacers used two hands on his back to try to keep him from burrowing down into the lane, the Thunder big man turned with the best zinger so far in the Orlando Pro Summer League.
“Hey, you won’t be able to do that in the D-League,” Adams said.
Half Tongan, which probably accounts more for his athletic skills. There's actually three of em in the league now (others are Siva and Jabari Parker), Polynesians are taking over all of sport.
Anyway, I been tellin nikkas bout Scumbag Steve since he was at Pitt. Thing is, he's still raw compared to most US raised players, and he's crazy strong but hasn't really filled out yet- this is his sister Valerie:

I have no doubt he can be the sort of defensive/rebounding/garbage points/goon player that's really valuable late during a playoff run.
He's going to be in the hall of fame for most annoying players, plus shyt like this is hilarious -

I was losing my mind last year that he wasn't starting over Perkins. He can actually catch and finish. Provides great energy. A lot more athletic than Perkins. Better on the boards. Probably the closest thing to a Laimbeer level annoyer the league has seen for a while. Just an overall solid skillset. Made no sense that he didn't start until this year.
On the average team yes I'd agree. But in comparison to what Perkins was bringing to the table I would've started him last year just for his ability to catch and finish when he got the ball near the hoop.Last year would have been too soon for him to start to be honest, he was seen as pretty raw coming out of college and had a lot of up and down games last year, this year he started out that way but has been putting it together in the last 3 weeks.
now that's an obscure late 90's referenceSteven Adams looks like that white singer that sings "Tell me! Did you sail across the sun!"

Does this really matter? Because OKC isn't gonna pay him anyway.
hes more skilled than he seems, dudes always forcing a steal or knocking the ball loose
agile, obviously can rebound at a good rate. cant believe he dropped as low as he did. but I did watch him a few times @ Pitt and didn't see that level of potential
