There's no such thing as Black people who are mixed..the moment you mix with anything else you stop being Black..these publications and so called Black media are owned and run by jews

That study isn't lying, though. People do perceive mixed-raced to look better hence Tariq marrying Peanut.

Just because someone marries or is with someone does not mean they think all (in this situation) light skinned women look better. Just so happen they met someone they like and just so happen to be light skinned. Too generalized.

I'm not saying it doesn't doesn't happen but it's not some "if this then that" type shyt.

"Study claims black people who are mixed look better"

There is nothing wrong with that. That is exactly what the study claims. It says black people who look mixed, are mixed, or who say they are mixed are perceived as more attractive.

I think you are just bothered by the picture. You shouldn't be.
You don't see what's wrong about that lol.

The title is click bait. Simply saying this study says mixed blacks are more attractive is misleading and can be construed. Hence why THE AUTHOR himself said essence sensationalized it.

Article didn't say mixed people were more attractive. So all yall who got mad and didn't read the article, take this L.

The article said when black people claim to be mixed, they're perceived to be more attractive because of anti-blackness.

Another L to the idiot who wrote the tweet and worded it that way for clickbait. Embarrassing all around.

It's not about the article it's about the tweet. You take an L for not understanding that.

I'm obviously not addressing those who feel the wording of the tweet was irresponsible since I said I thought it was, too.

That's my point. This is about the tweet, not the article. You're addressing the wrong thing.

I'm obviously addressing the numerous posts in this thread accusing Essence of promoting race mixing. Heres some examples.
:francis:I was just looking at an Essence with Zendaya on the cover...

The agenda is real.

Some bullshyt. Same old pro-white anti-black skin narrative to get black women on the swirl. Black women who support this magazine gotta ditch this ASAP.

I TOLD YOU ABOUT THESE BLACK FEMINISTS!!

This is some White Supremacist logic :scust:

fukk that magazine.

They're all about the bedwrench .

But cry foul when it's a black man with a white woman? :what:

I remember that Reggie Bush story when he was dating Kim , along other ones :sas1:
Thats all I have to say to you. Go debate elsewhere.

They did promoting race mixing with the tweet and pic. This isn't a debate , you're an insecure idiot who can't admit when you're wrong.

Someone fill me in, did essence do the study themselves or pay someone else to? Or are they just running a story on a study that was done

Your name-calling already exposes your lack of maturity and heightened emotion so I dont even know why Im getting ready to post this but...

If they were promoting race mixing with the picture and tweet, it wouldn't make sense to link an article addressing anti-blackness and colorism. If the tweet itself was promoting race mixing, that would mean the article and the tweet are disagreeing with each other. Think critically.

The tweet is clickbait, not an attempt to promote race-mixing. Go have a Sunday brunch and relax.
