If you go on Neo Gaf and call someone a faq you'll be banned. If you do it here it's almost guaranteed nobody will say anything about it. It's not really ok in either case but are posters here gonna bother to stand up for homosexuals?

All this stuff is the same. Most people don't make it a habit to stand up for someone else. Some people will use racial slurs while condemning them and justify their own use of it. They don't even see the irony.

My opinion is that if let's plays go to court they will be declared illegal and YouTubers won't be able to do them anymore. Let's plays only exist because the publishers allow them to.

Let's be real here a let's play isn't fair use because it's just somebody recording someone else's copyrighted material and talking over it. No court of law is gonna back that. Now a review or preview that's just small portions of the copyrighted work and used for criticism is fair use. A let's play is pretty far from that.

Most people don't internalize themselves as being bad people. At the same time people aren't cut and dry. Sometimes people have bad thoughts and bad ideals. How does one feel like internally they're a good or ok person but hold on to such ideals?

Example: The guy probably internally thinks he's a good person but he likes Pewdiepie's content. Pwediepie does things time and time again to suggest he's a racist. This other guy can't like the content of a racist right? So he has to find a way to justify what Pewdiepie did. Either that or drop his content. Obviously this guy chooses to defend the content. Either that or maybe he too is a racist.
