I can't really argue against "Still Tippin" because it really set off that whole Houston movement. I think these are contenders though:

^^^ Can't believe this one wasn't mentioned. That song defines that whole period where The Neptunes ruled the radio.

^^^ Had multiple producers flipping Middle Eastern and Indian samples. Just Blaze came with Freeway's "Flipside" and Erick Sermon's "React". There was Nore's "Nothin" produced by The Neptunes and the Truth Hurts song produced by Quik. Yeah, it came out late, late 1999, but it was an official single in 2000.

Someone made a thread about it the other day

As an East coast head it had me intrigued and I still think it's classic to this day. Mesmerizing beat and pretty unique attention-grabbing lyrics. Gave me a snapshot of the culture in a few minutes. Simple shyt like "my gasoline always supreme" was just a new look at everything.
I'm from the South and I felt the same way you did when I first heard it

"Back then they didn't want me, now I'm hot and they all on me"

Not many people know that Slim's verse and the hook was a old freestyle he did in 98

To me Still Tippin and International Players Anthem would be my #1 and 2
