Blueprint is surface level bars...Nas makes you really reflect and listen

Both albums perfectly capture the late 2001/early 2002 vibes...but I find myself replaying Stillmatic exponentially more

I could have done without Hola Hovito, Jigga That nikka, and more than likely All I Need.

Very glad that Braveheart Party was taken off Stillmatic. I'm glad Nas left Jungle to soul clapping instead of rapping.

To me, Blueprint was more about the production and thus its mood. Its a smooth ride through and through for sure.

There was more of a lyrical focus to Stillmatic and more intetesting subject matter. And thats more of why I listen to Hip Hip.

Stillmatic was my answer in 2001 and it still is. Stillmatic convinces me that Nas was GOAT. Blueprint is a classic and may have solidified Jay Z's standing in Hip Hop, but Nas was genius on Stillmatic conceptually and lyrically. Nothing on Blueprint hit on the level of the songs below:
